”Mihai Viteazul” Gendarmerie School has the following tasks.
               - Career training courses for Romanian Gendarme Officers;
               - Basic training not only for Police Academy gradutes but also for those from civil source as well as 1st function courses;
               - Further training courses;
               - Further training courses in order to get superior ranks;
               - Foreign language courses;
               - Provides support to scientifical army research (new combat techniques, new action devices, new materials and equipment);
               - Organizez The International Senior Officer Course for Gendarme or Police Officers belonging to those countries Romania cooperates with.

 

          "Mihai Viteazul" Gendarme School organize the following courses:

          - basic training courses for:
               - gendarme officers who have graduated ” AL.I.Cuza” Police Academy;
               - specialized personnel coming from civil source;
               - specialized personnel coming from civil source and have to get new specialization;
               - personnel who moved to a new unit and needs training.

          - further training courses- getting higher ranks;

          - pentru schimbarea specialităţii/ profilului de muncă;

          - further training courses- getting a new work profile;

          - The International Senior Officer Course for Gendarme or Police Officers belonging to those countries Romania cooperates with;

          - foreign language courses (english and french);

          - courses – to become major/ colonel.
